Role overview

Archirodon is seeking a QC Inspector (Painting and Coating) to join a quality control team on an Abu Dhabi project.

Responsibilities

  • Review project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to identify quality and engineering criteria for coating and painting materials, workmanship, and testing.
  • Verify inspection of work elements related to E&I works for compliance with established procedures and project requirements.
  • Participate in on-site receipt inspections of coating and painting materials.
  • Prepare and review concrete specifications, mix designs, and ITPs.
  • Carry out coating and painting testing and inspections for onshore and offshore Oil and Gas construction.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Coating and Painting QC Inspector in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Familiarity with Shell DEP and international codes and standards.
  • NACE Level II or CSWIP / BGAS Grade 2 certification.
  • Fluency in English and computer literacy, including MS Office proficiency.
  • Previous ADNOC project experience is preferred.
  • Good communication, independent judgment, coordination, and organizational skills.
