Duties and responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct quality-control programs according to standards; establish inspection and testing procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits for compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to resolve quality issues.
- Manage equipment lifting and hazardous-material storage, and perform scheduled quality audits.
- Analyze products and non-conformance processes, review documents, and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Discuss inspection results with responsible parties and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits; support welding and NDT qualification and test activities.
- Maintain quality-assurance standards, monitor their application, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and certifications for ISO and other quality management systems.
- Stay current with developments and regulations in water-treatment quality assurance and control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required.
- Internal/Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
- Quality-control-related certification is preferable.
- Requires strong knowledge of water-treatment processes, technologies, and regulations, plus knowledge of equipment and machinery.
- Requires knowledge of risk, project, and production management and water-leak testing of wastewater-treatment equipment.
- Requires attention to detail, documentation and report-writing skills, and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
