Process & Proposal Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and project specifications; verify and optimize FEED designs.
• Perform process simulations, design calculations, process optimization, and equipment sizing and selection.
• Prepare datasheets, calculations, equipment specifications, cause-and-effect diagrams, control philosophies, procedures, HAZOP studies and reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Provide engineering inputs to other disciplines and departments.
• Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents.
• Assess process engineering feasibility for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with other departments and monitor new technologies for process optimization.

Qualifications and experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant water and wastewater treatment experience.
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes, process design software including BioWin, costing, and tendering.
• Very good oral and written English is required; Arabic or German is advantageous.
