MEP Quality Leadership
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project MEP Quality Management Plan, ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
- Lead and manage the MEP QA/QC team, including discipline engineers, inspectors, and document controllers.
- Review specifications, IFC drawings, approved material submittals, shop drawings, and technical requirements.
- Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
Systems and Inspection Scope
- Establish inspection and testing requirements for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and drainage, fire fighting and fire alarm, ELV, BMS and controls, vertical transportation interfaces, and building services and utilities.
- Review and approve ITPs, checklists, method statements, and material inspection procedures.
Inspections and Quality Controls
- Coordinate quality matters with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Ensure inspection requests are raised and completed according to approved procedures; monitor installation quality through site inspections and audits.
- Verify testing and commissioning and document test results.
- Manage NCRs, observations, corrective and preventive actions, and quality improvement initiatives; investigate recurring issues.
- Conduct internal quality audits and participate in consultant/client audits.
- Maintain MIRs, IRs, test reports, calibration certificates, and quality records; ensure testing equipment is calibrated.
- Review and monitor subcontractor and supplier quality performance.
Completion and Reporting
- Coordinate MEP inspections with civil and architectural teams to resolve interface and coordination issues.
- Monitor quality during installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
- Submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, testing and commissioning records, warranties, certificates, and final quality dossiers.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, inspection, and handover activities.
- Provide quality reports and KPI updates to project management; promote a quality culture and a “Right First Time” approach.
Education
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Pay
- AED 22,000–28,000 per month.
