Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site QA/QC Mechanical role based in Dubai, focused on high-rise building projects within the construction and contracting sector.
The role involves developing and implementing mechanical quality assurance and quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other building services systems.
Daily responsibilities include performing inspections of mechanical installations, reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring work against project standards, and documenting non-conformities with corrective actions.
The role also requires coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and client requirements, as well as preparing QA/QC reports and supporting commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, particularly in building services and high-rise construction.
- Candidates should possess experience in Inspection and QA/QC processes for mechanical systems in construction projects.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance-related skills for mechanical equipment and building services systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Mechanical systems relevant to Automotive or related industrial applications (beneficial but not mandatory).
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in the UAE and GCC.
- Candidates should possess strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in high-rise building construction or contracting environments in a QA/QC mechanical role.
