Role Description
The QA/QC Engineer (Constructions Background – Electrical / Mechanical / Civil) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing project-specific quality plans, procedures, and inspection test plans in line with company and regulatory standards.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, monitoring construction activities, verifying materials and workmanship, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
The QA/QC Engineer will coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve quality issues, manage non-conformance reports, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
The role also involves preparing quality documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and continuously improving quality processes to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Quality Control, including site inspections, material verification, and monitoring of construction activities.
- Strong Quality Assurance capabilities, such as developing quality plans, procedures, and inspection test plans for electrical, mechanical, and civil works.
- Experience in Quality Auditing, including conducting internal and external audits and reporting findings to project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Quality Management, covering non-conformance handling, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Inspection activities, including witnessing tests, verifying installation quality, and ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in construction projects within the GCC region, preferably in building or infrastructure works.
- Familiarity with international and local construction standards, codes, and QA/QC procedures.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
