Overview
- To handle day-to-day site inspections and quality control for all mechanical installations (HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, and drainage), ensuring everything matches project drawings and gets approved by the consultant.
- Site Inspections:
- Prepare, submit, and raise Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) to get consultant approvals.
- Defect Management:
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for incorrect site works and follow up to make sure they are corrected and closed out.
- Material Checks:
- Inspect incoming site materials against approved material submittals and approve Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Testing & Commissioning
Coordinate with subcontractors to witness pressure testing, ductwork checks, and equipment commissioning.
• Paperwork & Trackers
- Keep accurate, up-to-date daily logs of all inspections, NCRs, and site approvals.
- Project Handover:
- Collect and organize final close-out documents like O&M manuals, spare parts lists, and warranties.
