Quality planning and inspections
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents for quality requirements.
- Prepare, review, and implement ITPs; review method statements for quality and constructability.
- Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, screeding, tiling, doors, windows, glazing, façades, painting, and finishes.
- Monitor concrete batching, delivery, slump testing, casting, curing, cube testing, and test results; take corrective action for non-conforming results.
- Inspect MEP interfaces affecting civil and architectural work and coordinate with MEP teams.
- Verify material deliveries against approved submittals and witness laboratory and field tests for materials.
Reporting, compliance, and handover
- Ensure work follows approved shop drawings and method statements; raise NCRs and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Reinspect work to verify closure of NCRs and quality observations; prepare daily, weekly, and activity-based reports.
- Maintain quality records, checklists, and traceability documentation; coordinate consultant inspections and obtain stage approvals.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, and final inspections; verify as-built drawings and support handover and close-out documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of construction QA/QC experience, including at least 4 years as a QA/QC engineer on reputed UAE developer projects.

- Strong understanding of quality standards for high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, and residential construction.
