Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) with mandatory building construction experience.
The role involves developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures for electrical works in building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
The QA/QC Engineer will review electrical drawings and technical documentation, inspect installations on site, and coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
Daily tasks include conducting inspections and tests, preparing quality reports, managing non-conformance reports, and participating in internal and external audits.
The role also requires monitoring subcontractor performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all electrical works are executed safely and to the required quality levels.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills specific to electrical systems in building construction.
- Proficiency in Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Auditing for electrical works and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) in building construction projects, preferably in the GCC region.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and construction QA/QC procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to HSE policies and practices.
