QA/QC Engineer - Electrical

Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Inspect and test cable laying, terminations, panels, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems.
- Monitor installation work for compliance with project quality plans and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans, method statements, and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate quality issues with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Verify materials are approved and meet project specifications.
- Maintain inspection records, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Participate in audits, support closure of non-conformances, and document commissioning test reports.
- Ensure safety standards are followed during inspection and testing.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Seven years of QA/QC experience for electrical systems in construction or power projects.
- Familiarity with IEC, NEC, and IEEE international standards and local regulations.
- Experience handling QA/QC documentation and audits.
