The QA/QC Engineer ensures construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
The role focuses on maintaining high workmanship standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and check compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and QA/QC documentation.
- Monitor construction activities and identify quality issues.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Review materials and workmanship against approved standards.
- Prepare NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of construction-industry QA/QC experience.
- UAE/GCC contracting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
