Facility Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers, and suppliers.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure defects are rectified on time.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Ensure HSE policy compliance and conduct toolbox talks when required.
• Support client, consultant, and authority audits and inspections.
• Maintain asset registers, spare-parts inventory, and service records.
• Assist with facility-operations budget control and cost optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
• Three to five years of facilities management or building maintenance experience.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services.
• Familiarity with UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Knowledge of CAFM systems is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
• Arabic-speaking ability.

Working Conditions

• The role may require shift duties, night work, or on-call support.
• This is a site-based role with occasional office reporting.

• Work location is in person and site based.
