QA/QC Engineer for a high-rise building construction project in Dubai, UAE.
The role seeks an experienced, detail-oriented quality professional, preferably with main-contractor experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project QA/QC procedures under project specifications and applicable standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams on quality compliance.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor work against approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare, review, and submit IRs, MIRs, and other quality documents.
- Follow up on NCRs, SORs, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement quality plans and maintain accurate quality records.
- Participate in audits, project meetings, and consultant inspections.
- Identify quality issues and recommend measures to prevent recurring defects.
- Coordinate quality requirements with construction progress.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in building construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, project specifications, ITPs, method statements, and quality management systems.
- Good communication, coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Main-contractor experience is preferred.
- High-rise building project experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Candidates residing in the UAE with immediate availability are preferred.

- Employment type is full-time.
- Candidates should be able to join immediately or within a short notice period.
