Logistic Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan site logistics and coordinate deliveries, unloading, storage, and distribution to floors and work areas.
• Coordinate tower cranes, material and passenger hoists, and other lifting equipment.
• Plan access routes, delivery schedules, laydown areas, and storage arrangements.
• Coordinate daily needs with construction managers, site engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage vertical and horizontal material transportation across structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Monitor equipment use and material-handling efficiency; coordinate safe lifting and traffic management with HSE.
• Manage site access and delivery permits; prepare logistics schedules and progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of construction-site experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use building projects.
• Practical knowledge of tower cranes, construction hoists, lifting operations, and site material handling.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and logistics in restricted site areas.
• Understanding of UAE construction safety practices and logistics requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working for a reputable main contractor is strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience includes buildings of 30 floors or more, multiple tower cranes and hoists, restricted access, limited storage, or complex deliveries.
• Familiarity with Dubai construction regulations and site logistics procedures is preferred.
