Logistic Engineer - High Rise Building Construction Project Site

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage overall site logistics for high-rise residential building construction.
• Coordinate material deliveries, unloading, storage, and distribution to designated floors and work areas.
• Plan and coordinate tower crane, material hoist, passenger hoist, and other lifting-equipment operations.
• Develop logistics plans for access routes, delivery schedules, laydown areas, and material storage.
• Coordinate daily logistics with construction managers, site engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage vertical and horizontal material transportation during structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Monitor lifting-equipment utilization and improve material-handling efficiency to reduce delays.
• Coordinate with HSE teams on safe lifting, traffic management, and site safety compliance.
• Manage site access, delivery permits, and logistics arrangements under project and local-authority requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly logistics schedules and progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of construction-site experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven high-rise residential or mixed-use building project experience.
• Practical knowledge of tower cranes, construction hoists, lifting operations, and site material handling.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and logistics in restricted site areas.
• Understanding of UAE construction safety practices and logistics requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High-rise buildings of 30 floors or above, multiple cranes and hoists, and complex or restricted-site logistics experience are preferred.
• Previous experience with a reputable main contractor is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Dubai construction regulations and site logistics procedures is preferred.
