Water Pipeline QC Engineer in the Quality Control / Water Infrastructure department in Abu Dhabi.
Full-time role with in-person work at a project site.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of experience in water pipeline QA/QC activities within the GCC region.
- Hands-on experience with major authorities or projects under ADDC/TAQA, AADC, DEWA, FEWA, MUSANADA, Abu Dhabi Municipality, or similar.
- Experience in pipeline installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning is required.
Technical skills
- Familiarity with water transmission and distribution systems, including HDPE, DI, GRP, and UPVC pipelines.
- Ability to prepare ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
- Awareness of ADWEA Standards is desirable.
- Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent is desirable; QA/QC certifications are preferred.
- UAE driving license is preferred for site mobility.
Other requirements
- Must be able to join within 30 days.
- Willingness to work in a site-based environment under project conditions.
Salary
- Salary is to be decided based on interview performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control activities for water pipeline projects.
- Inspect pipeline installation and conduct testing, including hydrostatic testing, flushing, and disinfection.
- Support pipeline commissioning.
- Prepare ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
