The HSE Engineer will help ensure safe execution of water infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant HSE experience, including practical UAE experience on water transmission and distribution network projects.
- Strong experience with pipeline construction, excavation, trenching, lifting operations, confined spaces, and dewatering.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and project safety requirements.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, toolbox talks, inspections, and safety audits.
- Ability to investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports.
- Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and emergency procedures.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and site-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe execution of water infrastructure project work.
- Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, inspections, and safety audits.
- Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports.
Work location
- Work is in person in Abu Dhabi.
