The role is a web QA engineer position described as Dubai or remote, on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Write test plans and scripts before the build.
- Run functional and regression tests across every template and both languages.
- Test browsers and devices against an agreed matrix.
- Verify accessibility against WCAG 2.1 AA separately.
- Verify performance against the agreed budget.
- Test member-area roles, permissions, approval workflows, uploads, and account boundaries.
- Log, triage, and retest defects, and support clients through UAT.
What you need
- Provide test scripts you have written.
- Have web-project functional and regression testing experience and maintain structured defect records.
- Test across browsers and devices against a defined matrix.
- Verify WCAG 2.1 AA using real tools and manual checks.
- Be comfortable reporting problems plainly to the people who built them.
Additional advantages
- Arabic reading sufficient to verify layout and content is an advantage.
- Test automation and performance-testing tools are advantages.
- Security-testing awareness around authentication and uploads is an advantage.
