The Project Specialist (Electronic Warfare) plans, coordinates, and oversees technical projects from initiation to completion, delivering within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
The role manages schedules, resources, procurement, risks, and stakeholder communications while aligning delivery with business and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate has at least five years managing complex technical or engineering projects; defense, aerospace, radar, communications, or electronic warfare experience is preferred.
Planning and budget management
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements; develop detailed plans aligned with business goals.
- Monitor and control evolving project plans in consultation with technical teams.
- Prepare budgets, monitor expenditure, report variances, and implement corrective measures to control costs and optimize value.
- Support procurement by tracking purchase requisitions, coordinating vendors, and monitoring deliveries.
Risk, stakeholders, and quality
- Identify and assess delivery risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor schedules and key milestones.
- Optimize resource use to prevent bottlenecks or shortfalls.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; participate in customer meetings, project reviews, acceptance activities, and progress reporting.
- Provide status updates and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure deliverables meet defined standards and requirements, conduct quality reviews, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Basic qualifications
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience managing technical, engineering, or product development projects; experience in defense, aerospace, communications, radar, electronic warfare, or related technology sectors is preferred.
- Working knowledge of RF systems and electronic warfare concepts sufficient to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to closure.
Technical knowledge
- Basic to intermediate understanding of electronic warfare principles and RF-based systems.
- Familiarity with spectrum operations, jamming, spoofing, electronic support, and electronic protection concepts.
- Awareness of Counter-UAS technologies, sensors, radar, communications, and RF systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
