Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end execution of steel structure projects, including Hot Rolled and PEB structures.
The role covers planning, coordination, cost control, delivery, client management, quality, and safety compliance.
Strong leadership, client management, and technical knowledge of steel construction are required.
Project Delivery Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of steel structure projects from award to handover.
- Plan schedules, manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
- Review contract documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate design, fabrication, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Monitor progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
Coordination and Control
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectively.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for approvals and coordination.
- Control project costs, variations, claims, and change orders.
- Conduct project review meetings and submit progress reports.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance and Commercial Duties
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and HSE regulations.
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow up on project payments.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 12 years of experience in steel structure project management is required.
- Proven experience handling large-scale steel projects is required.
- UAE project experience is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is required.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, erection, and construction processes is required.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval procedures is required.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera and MS Office is required.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 15,000 to AED 17,000 per month.
Workplace and Employment
- The position is full-time and permanent.
- Work location is in person.
