Manage planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control for steel structure and fabrication projects.
Planning scope runs from engineering and procurement through fabrication, erection, and final completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, erection, and commissioning.
- Prepare baseline and recovery programmes, look-ahead schedules, and progress reports; monitor schedules and identify delays and critical activities.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, project, and site teams; track fabrication and erection against milestones.
- Analyse critical paths, resource needs, productivity, and delays; develop mitigation and recovery plans with project teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and clients; monitor material delivery schedules and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct progress meetings, update schedules, and support forecasting and schedule-related project decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of project-planning experience; structural steel or fabrication experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, erection, engineering, and project execution activities.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Experience preparing baseline schedules, progress updates, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and recovery programmes.
- Strong understanding of critical path method, resource planning, and delay analysis.
- UAE/GCC experience in steel or construction projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
Employment and Compensation
- Job type is full-time.
- Pay is AED 18,000–20,000 per month.
