Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Significant experience in risk and compliance projects.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least five years in banking.
- Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices; Waterfall, Hybrid, or Agile are referenced.
- PMI certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Techno-functional ability to engage cross-functional teams, solve problems, and negotiate.
- Hands-on Microsoft Project experience is required; MPP knowledge is mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management across business and senior management.
- Experience managing a team of more than 5–10 people.
- In-depth banking and technology knowledge, cross-functional team experience, and familiarity with project performance metrics.
Project Responsibilities
- Create and execute project work plans with the team and monitor deliverables.
- Manage day-to-day project operations and resolve challenges to support on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain complete project documents and store them appropriately.
- Monitor projects and provide periodic updates to senior management.
- Report project status, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage scope, time, and budget across project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
- Handle at least three projects concurrently.
Key Accountabilities and Preferred Background
- Deliver projects by aligning IT, business, operations, and vendors for timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Risk application experience involving credit risk management standards, data delivery for model implementation, or model lifecycle management is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and experience working with senior management are specified.
