Role overview

Location and regional scope

Opportunity and tender management

• Manage opportunities across the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa from qualification and requirement clarification through proposal, bidding, negotiation, and contract signing.
• Lead RFI, RFQ, RFP, and major tender activities with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal.

Requirements, risk, and handover

• Establish and track customer requirements for performance, grid connection, delivery, localization, warranty, and after-sales support.
• Identify and manage technical, cost, schedule, certification, grid-connection, commercial, and contractual risks.
• Lead internal reviews and drive management decisions on critical issues.
• Coordinate customer workshops, clarification meetings, and commercial negotiations.
• Handover scope, commitments, schedule, risks, and open items to the execution team after signing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Energy Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in renewable energy, power, BESS, or EPC projects.
• Experience in pre-sales project management, major tenders, project development, or contract negotiations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of utility-scale BESS, including battery systems, PCS, BMS, EMS, grid connection, RTE, and availability requirements.
• Strong project planning, risk management, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent English and ability to independently lead customer and internal project meetings.
• Willingness to be based in or travel extensively across the region.
