Role overview

Product management experience

• Experience in product planning and lifecycle management, and in defining and executing product vision and strategy.
• Ability to gather and prioritize customer and business requirements and create detailed product roadmaps.
• Experience with OPS assessments such as TRA and PIA, and financial analysis for multi-year projects.
• Experience managing multi-year, multimillion-dollar projects, including stakeholders, risks, and scope.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams for product delivery.

Technical and project tools

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Project lifecycle tools include Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Kanban, and Azure DevOps.
• Online collaboration tools include Miro, Microsoft Teams, Atlassian Confluence, Office 365, Google Drive, Zoom, and Slack.

Documentation experience

• Experience creating privacy, financial, communication, and IT documentation, including business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments, Threat Impact Assessments, and Requests for Service.
• Experience creating Agile artifacts such as roadmaps, release plans, epics, features, and user stories.

Public sector experience

• Public sector experience is listed as nice to have.
• Relevant experience may include public sector ITIL processes, Ontario Public Sector PMO Stage Gate, and Service Ontario or ministry business processes.

Work arrangement

• Supplier comments specify five days onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale, complex, high-profile, and high-risk OPS I&IT initiatives.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client business requirements on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Plan product lifecycles and define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
• Gather and prioritize customer and business requirements and formulate business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects.
• Manage stakeholders, risks, scope, and financial analysis for large, multi-year projects.
• Create project documentation, including business cases, privacy and threat assessments, and requests for service.
• Create Agile delivery artifacts, including roadmaps, release plans, epics, features, and user stories.
