Project Manager

Role overview

What you will do

• Own concurrent business application projects from initiation through go-live and handover.
• Work with Solution Leads, architects, and the Business Analyst to assess demand, define scope, and estimate projects.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, RAID logs, and delivery governance.
• Forecast pipeline demand and plan contractor and delivery capacity.
• Coordinate dependencies and sequencing across interconnected applications.
• Manage external partner and contractor capacity, costs, and extensions.
• Coordinate with operational and support teams around sprint and BAU commitments.
• Communicate with stakeholders and report delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions needed.
• Improve project delivery processes and governance as the function matures.
• Manage testing, release, go-live, and hypercare, handing over to ongoing support.

Experience and capabilities

• Proven experience independently owning and delivering multiple projects.
• Experience delivering ERP, CRM, or other enterprise/business application change is of particular interest.
• Understand application requirements, solution design, development, testing, and release lifecycles.
• Manage concurrent work with competing priorities and dependencies.
• Bring strong project governance, planning, budgeting, risk, and stakeholder-management capability.
• Have experience working with technical teams, including architects, developers, and Business Analysts.
• Be confident managing external partners, contractors, or project resources.
• A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent is beneficial.
• Take initiative in an environment where processes are still evolving.
