X Architects seeks a Design Project Manager to manage design projects and contribute across project management functions under senior leadership guidance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main client contact, provide updates, address concerns, and support satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Lead projects from initiation to closeout, setting schedules and milestones and monitoring progress.
- Assess proposals against client needs and project scope.
- Maintain meeting minutes, follow-ups, progress reports, and issue logs.
- Monitor budgets, identify risks, and resolve issues affecting project timelines or deliverables.
- Participate in contractual reviews and procurement processes.
- Manage concurrent projects and align internal teams with external stakeholders.
- Communicate changes and delays to clients proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of project management experience in design or architecture-related fields.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong client-facing and interpersonal abilities, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera.
