Managerial-level Project Leader overseeing training projects in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Plan training projects, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage budgets, forecast costs, track expenditures, identify savings, and optimize resources.
- Engage clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and industry associations; communicate progress, risks, and issues and gather feedback.
- Assess risks, create mitigation strategies, monitor performance metrics, and take corrective action.
- Maintain training quality, evaluate program effectiveness, and implement improvements.
- Lead and coach cross-functional teams of trainers, instructional designers, technical experts, and administrative staff.
- Ensure regulatory, standards, and safety compliance and protect participant and personnel well-being.
Requirements
- At least 20 years of experience in the technical area of the petrochemical or oil and gas industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the job certification process.
- Familiarity with basic computer software such as MS Office.
