Role overview

Role and responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work programs and material procurement schedules with the Planning Engineer.
• Initiate mobilization of resources for site facilities and project setup with the Project Manager.
• Implement the construction program as directed by the Project Manager.
• Prepare monthly manpower and material forecasts and review daily schedules and resource needs with foremen.
• Review progress reports and advise on issues affecting completion, quality, costs, and schedules.
• Review drawings and resolve discrepancies with Engineering or the Consultant.
• Source materials to specification and prepare submittals for Consultant approval.
• Monitor site safety and recommend procedural improvements.
• Attend Consultant inspections and follow up as needed.
• Monitor subcontractor work for quality and schedule compliance.
• Prepare as-built drawings and complete project manuals and documentation.

Candidate profile

• Engineering degree in Civil Engineering; professional engineering certification where applicable.
• At least 10 years of civil, commercial, or industrial high-rise construction experience, including direct supervision of major construction sites.
• Sound knowledge of engineering design and construction codes.
• Strong construction scheduling, site management, budget management, and cost reporting skills.
• Experience handling subcontractor variance reports and claims settlements.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and supervise third-party contractors.
• Certified Engineer (Unlimited Floors) is preferred.

• Work location is in person.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 19,000 to AED 20,000 per month.
