Land Surveyor

Role Overview

Field Operations and Setting Out

• Conduct field surveys, topographic mapping, and geodetic calculations.
• Establish precise horizontal and vertical control points, lines, and levels for construction projects.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Prepare detailed maps, sketches, survey reports, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to verify measurements and resolve discrepancies.

Compliance and Equipment

• Ensure all work adheres to Dubai Municipality and Road and Transport Authority standards.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate Total Stations, GPS equipment, levels, and other surveying instruments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8–12 years of experience in land surveying within the construction industry, particularly high-rise projects.
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, and CAD software.
• Familiarity with UAE local authority procedures and land laws.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
