Project Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise landscaping project execution from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with design teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to align project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress on site and promptly resolve engineering or construction issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality-control procedures throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and risk management for senior management.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives to increase workflow efficiency and reduce project risks.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Substantial practical experience managing landscaping or civil construction projects is expected; Abu Dhabi or similar-region experience is preferred.
• A deep understanding of landscaping principles, construction methods, and material specifications is essential.
• Strong theoretical knowledge supported by practical application in construction projects is expected.
• Additional project-management certifications such as PMP or equivalent are advantageous.
