Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD and conceptual Adobe drawings based on design information and project requirements.
- Prepare preliminary, presentation, tender, construction, and revision drawings accurately and on deadline.
- Report drawing progress to operations and project managers and provide detail that supports execution.
- Incorporate approved changes and keep final approved drawings accessible for operations.
- Use AutoCAD and Photoshop; create 3D renderings in 3DS Max when required.
- Visit sites for detailed measurements and attend client technical meetings when required.
- Prepare BOQs for procurement and assist with pre-bid design and tendering.
- Maintain confidentiality, workplace health and safety, and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications and experience
- Draftsmanship training from a recognized institute or equivalent, or a two-year National Trade Certificate for Draughtsman from a recognized institute.
- At least 5–6 years of practical landscaping experience.
- Ability to respond well to circumstances and maintain a positive attitude.
- AutoCAD and Photoshop are used for assigned duties.
