Project Engineer

Role overview

Project delivery and coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily interior fit-out site activities.
• Review architectural, interior design, joinery, and MEP drawings for correct execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor progress against the approved schedule and support timely completion.
• Coordinate site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.

Documentation, materials, and handover

• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and other project documents.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate timely deliveries with procurement.
• Identify site discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions; prepare daily progress reports and management updates.
• Support snagging, testing, final inspections, and project handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes, and joinery.
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design, and MEP drawings.
• Experience in site supervision, project coordination, and quality control.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material coordination, and site documentation.

Skills and tools

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required; project planning software knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple site activities under pressure.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
