The Operations Agent owns operational execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for creating, coordinating, and closing shipment files.
Shipment execution and customer coordination
- Create and execute customer shipments according to implementation plans and customer requirements, including QHSE and reporting needs.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and manage the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, including inland delivery, with internal stakeholders.
- Track shipments proactively and notify customers of transport-plan deviations, offering potential solutions or alternatives.
- Onboard customers and build collaborative customer relationships focused on finding solutions.
- Liaise with suppliers and prepare transport plans.
Operational accountability
- Own day-to-day customer relationships and daily operational execution.
- Provide daily EDI updates and create sales/order and purchase/order records and operational files in company systems.
- Support efficiency, automation, and standardization that create value for Maersk.
- Protect customer satisfaction for third-party suppliers and partners.
- Ensure execution and reporting meet compliance requirements.
