Assistant Operations Manager

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and manage team performance and engagement.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and coordinate workflows against service, productivity, and quality targets.
• Drive process improvements, implement policies, and adopt best practices.
• Monitor operating metrics and take corrective action.
• Resolve operational challenges and support business plans and strategic objectives.
• Foster safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Several years of progressive logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or supply chain experience.
• Experience leading frontline or supervisory teams in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience managing performance, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Understanding of warehouse safety, compliance, and operational best practices.
