The coordinator supports project teams in Pomerleau’s Water/Wastewater Civil Operations team.
Projects include large-scale building and infrastructure work, ranging from $1.5 million to more than $1 billion.
What you will do
- Provide project coordination and administrative support, maintaining project documents, meeting schedules, and project resource coordination.
- Support communication among team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients.
- Review, interpret, and update construction schedules.
- Maintain and follow up on shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
- Review, collect, and analyze project quotes to seek competitive prices.
- Collect and complete companywide project reports for assigned projects.
- Promote project-specific safety standards, HS&E programs, and applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with employees and trade partners on site.
Candidate qualifications
- 1–3 years of construction industry working experience.
- University degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Proven project coordination and team collaboration experience.
- Passion for providing exceptional client service.
