Corporate Strategy Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather information, analyze it, and recommend strategic initiatives.
• Support execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives.
• Conduct value-added analyses for strategic projects and mandates, including competitive analysis.
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support senior leadership decisions on strategic opportunities.
• Prepare presentations for senior leadership and/or the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a consulting firm or corporate strategy or corporate development department.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities for complex business challenges.
• Ability to work independently and contribute proactively to a team.
• Strong presentation development skills and ability to create executive-level materials.
• Ability to synthesize complex issues and recommendations into clear, concise messages.
• Basic understanding of financial profitability concepts, including ROI, and corporate finance principles, including financial statement literacy.
• Construction or engineering industry knowledge is an asset.
