Project Account Manager - Data Centre

Role overview

Project and customer responsibilities

• Own assigned UAE data centre projects from early engagement through construction and completion.
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, general contractors, MEP contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
• Understand each project's stakeholders, technical requirements, construction packages, procurement strategy, and execution schedule.
• Work with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Identify opportunities for modular support systems, MEP installations, passive fire protection, anchoring, and related solutions.
• Collaborate with the Hilti Construction Project Manager on complex applications and support customers through execution.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and training.
• Troubleshoot technical and application challenges with customers and Hilti engineering teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders, progress opportunities, and deliver commitments.
• Develop a project pipeline, convert technical engagement into business, and build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Professional experience in data centre construction, mission-critical infrastructure, or technically complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of the UAE data centre construction ecosystem; an established industry network is strongly preferred.
• Existing relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, or other data centre stakeholders are an advantage.
• Good understanding of MEP construction, coordination, project execution, and construction package interfaces.
• Able to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements and translate them into practical customer solutions.
• Strong commercial opportunity development and conversion skills; proven ability to manage complex customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong project management and coordination skills; confident engaging technical and commercial decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, curious, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced project environment.
• Data centre industry experience and an established UAE network are strongly preferred.
