Credit & Collection Specialist (Field Based )

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage customer account reconciliations and respond to invoice and outstanding-balance inquiries.
• Review credit applications and assess financial information and credit eligibility.
• Support credit and collection policies that balance customer service with timely payment collection.
• Monitor customer credit exposure with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Negotiate credit and payment terms with customers and internal teams when required.
• Communicate receivables and account status to relevant stakeholders.
• Support payment plans to minimize bad debt and improve collection outcomes.
• Monitor payment trends, identify risks, escalate concerns, and recommend actions.
• Improve collection processes and operational efficiency.
• Comply with internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Handle challenging situations professionally and seek mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Visit customers regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Financial Analysis, Credit & Collections, or a similar finance role.
• Experience evaluating financial information and knowledge of credit practices, procedures, and risk analysis.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency and hands-on SAP experience are required.
• UAE driving license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Collaborative approach, proactive mindset, and willingness to improve processes and adapt to change.
