Role Overview

Duties and Responsibilities

• Production planning and follow-up: prepare and update daily and weekly production plans for the workshop/factory and follow up execution according to schedules and customer needs.
• Operations and resource management: supervise furniture and woodwork production lines and ensure optimal use of raw materials such as MDF, natural wood, veneer, and supplies.
• Efficiency and performance monitoring: monitor KPIs, analyze causes of delays or low efficiency, and propose and implement corrective solutions.
• Quality control: apply quality procedures and verify wood products and finishes conform to approved technical specifications before delivery.
• Maintenance coordination: follow up periodically with maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness, address technical faults, and reduce downtime.
• Materials and inventory management: follow up raw material and operating supply needs in coordination with procurement and warehouse departments to prevent production stoppages.
• Team leadership and management: supervise labor and technicians, distribute daily tasks, develop their skills, and follow up compliance with work instructions.
• Occupational safety and health (HSE): apply safety and environmental requirements inside the wood factory to reduce risks and accidents.
• Waste and cost management: monitor wood and material loss and waste ratios and develop continuous initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Reporting and development: prepare comprehensive periodic reports on production, quality, breakdowns, and raw material consumption and contribute to developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Salary

• Salary: SAR 15,000.00 per month.

• Work location: in person.

Requirements

• Experience in production and plant management in wood and furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to plan and follow up daily and weekly production schedules.
• Knowledge of wood materials such as MDF, natural wood, veneer, and related supplies.
• Experience applying quality control procedures and verifying product conformity to technical specifications.
• Ability to supervise workers and technicians and distribute daily tasks.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements in a wood factory.
• Ability to prepare periodic production, quality, breakdown, and material consumption reports.
• Arabic language proficiency.
