Production Helpers support mattress and bedding manufacturing operations.
The role assists machine operators and production teams with material handling, production support, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
The position suits physically fit candidates willing to learn and work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with quilting, foam cutting, tape edge, assembly, and other production processes.
- Load, unload, and transport foam, fabric, and mattress components; prepare materials, tools, and supplies.
- Support basic machine setup, cleaning, and shutdown; move finished and semi-finished products to designated areas.
- Maintain housekeeping, dispose of waste according to procedures, and follow safety instructions while wearing required PPE.
- Report shortages, defective products, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervisors; assist with other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements
- Basic education is preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, factory, or production experience is an advantage; fresh candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates should be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Pay
- Pay starts at QAR 1,300 per hour.
Hours
- Expected hours are 48 per week.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
