Role Description
The Product Technology Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and execution for real estate products and solutions.
This role manages the full lifecycle of digital products, from requirements gathering and concept validation to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
Daily tasks include coordinating with cross-functional teams, defining product roadmaps, prioritizing feature backlogs, and ensuring alignment between business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities.
The Product Technology Manager collaborates with software development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, monitor progress, and resolve issues or risks.
The role also involves analyzing performance data, recommending enhancements, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regional regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, define product metrics, and inform technology decisions.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with enterprise systems, integrations, and digital platforms.
- Proven Project Management experience in planning, prioritizing, and delivering technology or product initiatives on time and within scope.
- Demonstrated Team Leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams, build alignment, and drive accountability.
- Understanding of Software Development processes (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience in real estate, proptech, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and manage part-time hours with a structured, self-driven work style.
