Quality procedures and inspections
- Develop and implement product quality control and assurance procedures.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products, components, and materials against approved specifications and drawings.
- Review inspection and test reports for compliance with project and customer requirements.
- Identify product defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
Corrective action and coordination
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and manage NCRs, CARs, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor supplier quality and support supplier audits and evaluations.
Standards and improvement
- Develop and maintain ITPs, checklists, and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO, IEC, ASTM, and customer-specific standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Support product testing, validation, qualification, and internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and controlled.
- Prepare periodic quality performance reports and KPIs.
- Support initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
Requirements
- Ability to develop and implement product quality control and assurance procedures.
- Ability to inspect products, components, and materials against approved specifications and drawings.
- Knowledge of applicable ISO, IEC, ASTM, and customer-specific standards.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to prepare and manage quality records, including NCRs, CARs, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Ability to develop and maintain inspection and test plans, checklists, and quality procedures.
- Ability to support supplier audits, evaluations, and quality issue resolution.
- Ability to support product testing, validation, and qualification activities.
- Ability to ensure proper calibration and control of inspection and testing equipment.
- Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and report quality performance and KPIs.
