New product development and innovation
- Develop and implement the new product development roadmap and collaborate with business-unit managers on NPD business plans.
- Oversee product launches and manage the product development pipeline to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Identify market trends, emerging ingredients, competitor products, and industry developments to identify innovation opportunities.
- Build and prioritize an innovation pipeline according to business priorities, market potential, feasibility, strategic fit, and return on investment.
- Measure pipeline health, speed to market, launch success, and revenue generated from new products.
Leadership and partnerships
- Mentor team members, support their growth agendas, and conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Work with suppliers, contract manufacturers, innovation institutes, universities, and technology partners to accelerate innovation.
Budget responsibilities
- Prepare category and project budget and resource inputs and monitor actual costs against budgets for the Risk and Corporate Governance function.
Education and experience
- At least 8 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity in the beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong background in beverage manufacturing operations and product development is required.
- A master’s degree in food science or food technology is required.
