Costing Manager in the Finance department, based in Dubai.

Oversees plant cost structure and financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, product costing, variance analysis, and margin optimization.
Cost management
- Manage plant-level accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Lead cost analysis, identify savings, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and oversee standard cost updates, variance analysis, and month-end closing.
- Monitor labor efficiency, material consumption, inventory levels, and other cost KPIs; maintain product costing for current and new products.
- Partner with senior management on pricing and cost-change approvals and complete monthly costing close deliverables.
- Provide financial insights and reports, including periodic costing reports and ad-hoc management analysis.
Collaboration and inventory
- Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and other teams to optimize costs and validate new product costing.
- Support CAPEX evaluations and assess impacts on profitability and cash flow.
- Oversee inventory reconciliations, production-order aging, inventory aging, and consigned inventory.
- Lead physical inventory counts and cycle-count programs across business-unit locations.
Budgeting, development, and team leadership
- Organize budget review sessions, guide budget-variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Manufacturing during new product development to support targeted profitability.
- Lead and mentor junior costing team members, provide training, and conduct performance reviews and development planning.
- Collaborate with senior management on special initiatives to improve financial performance.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7–8 years of costing management experience in manufacturing; FMCG or manufacturing experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, banking practices, and financial processes.
- High accuracy and efficiency in data entry and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- CA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA is preferred.
