Role overview

Supplier quality and documentation

• Review vendor documents against approved engineering drawings, datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
• Set supplier quality benchmarks with design and project engineering teams and evaluate suppliers against technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct supplier assessments, pre-qualification audits, and manufacturing-line evaluations, either onsite or remotely.
• Plan quality kick-off and pre-inspection meetings, lead vendor and client meetings, issue minutes, track actions, and follow up to closure.

Inspection and compliance

• Coordinate FAT, SAT, manufacturing surveillance, and inspection activities against specifications, ITPs, quality requirements, and project standards.
• Monitor tests, review results and reports, address non-conformities, and close quality issues before material or equipment acceptance.
• Coordinate vendor compliance with ADNOC specifications, standards, procedures, and project quality requirements.
• Coordinate third-party inspection schedules and RFIs, maintain the RFI log, and follow up on inspection actions and concerns.

Supplier performance and reporting

• Issue non-conformance reports and coordinate root-cause investigation, corrective and preventive actions, effectiveness checks, and closure.
• Monitor supplier KPIs, defect rates, delivery timeliness, quality risks, capacity constraints, and single-point-of-failure dependencies.
• Develop contingency supply plans and implement mitigation measures to reduce project impact.
• Resolve post-purchase quality, technical, and delivery disputes with suppliers.
• Maintain a supplier quality lessons-learned register and identify process and inspection cost improvements.
• Verify material test reports, certificates of analysis, documentation packages, and final handover files.
• Maintain a procurement register covering vendor progress, inspections, document approvals, and delivery milestones.
• Submit weekly management reports and conduct vendor quality reviews with procurement, engineering, project management, expediting, and construction teams.
