We are seeking an experienced **Procurement Officer** to join our Interior Decoration, Joinery, and Fit-Out team.
The ideal candidate must have **4–5 years of procurement experience specifically within the interior fit-out, joinery, and decoration industry**.
Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for fit-out and joinery projects.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Procure materials such as timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, metal works, gypsum, paints, and other fit-out-related items.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain supplier databases and develop strong relationships with approved vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve project cost targets.
- Track material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and purchasing records.
Requirements
- **Bachelor's degree or Diploma** in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- **4–5 years of proven procurement experience in Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, and Decoration companies only.**
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery products, finishes, and subcontractor sourcing.
- Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent knowledge of local market suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/procurement systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
- Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
