The role requires knowledge of local and international supply markets, especially interior fit-out and construction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for quality, price, and delivery value.
- Build supplier relationships to support reliable supply chains.
- Review requisitions and ensure company policy compliance.
- Prepare purchase orders and contracts for materials and services.
- Monitor inventory, delivery schedules, and project procurement plans.
- Ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Evaluate vendors and review performance.
- Coordinate material needs with project managers, designers, and site teams.
- Track market trends, price fluctuations, and new fit-out materials and products.
- Maintain records and reports for audits and budgeting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of procurement experience in interior fit-out, construction, or a related UAE industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international fit-out material suppliers, including joinery, finishes, MEP, and furniture.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of UAE import/export regulations and logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- UAE driving license preferred.
