Business Development Manager role focused on fit-out and interior contracting business growth.
The role targets retail, F&B, hospitality, and other commercial fit-out projects, building client relationships and generating and closing business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fit-out and interior contracting market.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects, project managers, and real estate professionals.
- Develop and implement business development plans to meet company sales targets.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital outreach.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and bids with design and estimating teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to position the company effectively.
- Coordinate with design, project management, and commercial teams to meet client expectations.
- Maintain CRM records, generate reports, and provide sales performance updates and forecasts.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of business development or sales experience in interior fit-out, construction, or design-and-build.
- Strong network of industry contacts in commercial, retail, F&B, or hospitality sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of fit-out project lifecycles.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
