Role overview

Sourcing and vendor management

• Lead RFI, RFQ, and RFP sourcing across technology, services, and operational categories.
• Evaluate suppliers using total cost of ownership, including cost, quality, risk, and service.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify economical goods and services.

Contracts and compliance

• Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts with Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval authority matrices, and applicable UAE regulations; maintain auditable records and contract repositories.
• Manage contract renewals, amendments, expiry monitoring, and commercial renegotiations.

Purchasing operations

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods or services receipts in a timely manner.
• Coordinate PO-to-invoice workflows with Finance and resolve vendor payment queries.
• Monitor open orders and delivery timelines and proactively escalate supply issues.

Spend analysis and reporting

• Analyse category spend to identify savings and consolidation opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and category performance summaries for management.
• Own savings and cost avoidance reporting and procurement dashboards.
• Forecast procurement demand and identify aggregation opportunities across group entities.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of procurement experience, ideally in financial services, technology, or a multi-entity corporate environment.
• Hands-on multi-category procurement experience covering IT/SaaS, professional services, and facilities/operations.

Skills and preferred qualifications

• Strong commercial negotiation skills and a track record of cost savings and favourable contract terms.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills, with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems or ERP, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, category management, TCO analysis, supplier performance management, and procurement analytics.
• CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent professional certification is preferred; ISO certification is preferred.
• Exposure to FinTech, InsurTech, or regulated financial services is advantageous.
