Role responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities for assigned commodities, components, work packages, or services.
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing, supporting quality, cost, delivery, and supplier reliability.
- Coordinate purchase orders, requirements, production schedules, supplier changes, and delivery monitoring.
- Maintain supplier contracts, profiles, performance reporting, commercial terms, and alternative supply sources.
- Manage supply-chain risks and corrective actions, and resolve supplier delivery or commercial issues.
Qualifications and requirements
- CIPS is listed as a qualification; the source also includes the number 5.
- Supply chain, aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
- Communication, teamwork, and influencing are listed skills.
- Applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
- The successful applicant will have access to US ITAR-controlled technology, goods, and information; additional screening may be required.
